The 8th edition of the El Jadida Sea Forum, the leading international event in the southern Mediterranean dedicated to the sustainable development of the sea and coastal areas, will take place from May 8 to 11 under the theme « The Sea, the Future of the Earth. »

According to a press release from the organizers, this edition will focus on six major themes: « Feeding and Healing, » « Preserving, » « Trading, » « Dialoguing, » « Advocating, » and « Exploiting and Innovating. » In parallel, cultural activities will be featured throughout the event, including exhibitions, film screenings, and performances.

The beach and port of El Jadida will welcome the younger generation for introductory sessions on water sports and beach activities, as well as artistic workshops and marine environment discovery activities.

The program promises to be both rich and captivating, with six workshops, three conferences, two plenary sessions, one innovative ideas contest on the theme « Blue Solutions, » the « SeaLab, » and for the first time, a meeting dedicated to maritime comic books.

This edition aims to inspire reflection among over 3,000 participants from diverse backgrounds, thanks to innovative initiatives, structuring projects, and successful experiences both from Morocco and internationally, which will enrich discussions among a hundred experts, institutional representatives, and recognized economic and social actors from Morocco and abroad.

It is also worth noting that for this 8th edition, France will be honored, further strengthening bilateral cooperation on maritime and environmental issues.
