Yesterday, during her visit to the governorate of Médenine, Minister of Cultural Affairs Hayet Guettat Guermazi received the registration certificate for the island of Djerba on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The certificate was presented by Eric Falt, the Regional Director of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for the Maghreb.
It is worth noting that Djerba Island was officially inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on September 18th.
