In Africa, internet roads are fragile, as evidenced by the serious incident in mid-March 2024, which affected many countries in the west and center of the continent. African cyberspace nevertheless constitutes a strategic issue. Chinese companies have developed a significant influence there, making smartphones and telecommunications equipment accessible. But what about digital sovereignty?
