The town of Ghardimaou (governorate of Jendouba) will host, on May 11 and 12, the first forum on investment and sustainable development.
Organized in partnership with the young Economic Chamber of Ghardimaou, the forum will bring together, alongside Tunisian investors and exhibitors, a certain number of foreign investors from southern and northern Mediterranean countries.
It aims in particular to support the development policy followed in Tunisia, and to promote border and interior areas which have not yet realized their right to development despite their significant natural and human potential, the president of the Abderrahmène Allala Jemaai forum.
The forum, he added, also aims to develop the skills of young people and women in the region through the development of value-added training programs and awareness-raising actions, the programming of workshops and field visits as well as the creation of an environment encouraging stability and local investment, and the establishment of partnership with foreign investors.
On the menu of the forum, scientific communications and B2B meetings, interviews between investors and higher education graduates, a fair of local and processed products, a presentation of success stories and an exhibition of modern and advanced technologies capable of meeting the needs of needs of the producer and consumer, in particular those related to the field of agriculture, fishing and the economy of irrigation water.
