The Maritime Innovation Day held at the Ministry of Ecological Transition on Friday May 17 was an opportunity to highlight twelve innovative French projects addressing the issues and challenges of the maritime sector.
Dedicated to the 2023 winners of France 2030, supported by the Guidance Council for research and innovation of maritime industries (Corimer), the innovation day made it possible, after the interventions of Éric Banel, general director of Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture (DGampa ), and Carine Tramier, president of Corimer, to present the 12 innovative projects financed by France 2030 to the tune of 62.9 million euros (from funding schemes). Sinay, Aegir, Abyssa SAS, RTSYS, MarineTech, Hologarde, I2S, Ship as a Service, BW Ideol, Naval-group, EDF, Amvalor, Assystem, Primafrance Systems SAS, TechnicAtome, Chantiers de l’Atlantique, GTT, Solid sail mast factory, CWS Morel, Seaowl technology solution, Windship (on behalf of ADD technologies), Absolut hydrogen and Absolut system thus illustrated their innovations in sectors such as decarbonization, the development of renewable energies, the exploration of the deep sea and even the emergence of a French maritime surface drone sector.
