Laurent Ballesta will bring his expertise and experience in marine conservation, acquired through his work as an underwater naturalist photographer. This exceptional event will provide an opportunity to discuss the current and future challenges related to the preservation of our marine ecosystems, at the heart of the Cerbère-Banyuls Marine Reserve.

With over 25 years of experience, photographer Laurent Ballesta has established himself as one of the most prominent figures in underwater naturalist photography. His expertise in the marine environment spans from biology (his academic background) to the most extreme diving techniques and conditions. Through his lectures, Laurent Ballesta takes the audience on a journey through his most iconic expeditions, where natural history and personal stories are at the heart of the presentation. Illustrated with hundreds of photographs, his talk also highlights the environmental issues we face today.
