YAOUNDE, December 2 (Xinhua) – The first edition of Cameroon’s interprofessional aquaculture fair was inaugurated on Monday in Yaoundé, the country’s capital, reported CRTV, the state media.
Under the supervision of Cameroon’s Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries, and Animal Industries, the fair, themed “The Impact on Import Substitution, the Contribution of the Aquaculture Sector,” aims to promote the development of aquaculture in Cameroon.
Until December 6, local stakeholders will engage with international partners on training and improved seed offerings for fish farmers to boost aquaculture production in Cameroon.
