The signatory states of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) have been meeting annually since 1995, under the auspices of the UN, as part of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to monitor and assess the commitments made under the UNFCCC, the Kyoto Protocol, and the Paris Agreements.
COPs on climate change provide an opportunity for dialogue among different stakeholders, with the United Nations Global Compact participating to highlight the private sector as a vector for solutions to achieve the 2030 Agenda.
The France Network, in particular, allows companies to get involved and contribute to this major international event for dialogue and decision-making. The United Nations Global Compact – France Network will be present in Belém for COP30.
