The ultimate milestone and highest recognition for the « Titans of the Sea » exhibition by Naval Group, created by the official Navy painter, Brest native Ewan Lebourdais. The exhibition is hosted across two levels at the Musée de la Marine in Paris.

After stops at the Capucins in Brest in 2021, the Musée de la Marine in Toulon, the Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg, and the Machines de l’île in Nantes, the « Titans of the Seas » exhibition by Naval Group and the naval painter-photographer Ewan Lebourdais now enjoys the most prestigious stop of all at the Musée de la Marine in Paris.

L’exposition « Titans des mers » avait démarré aux Capucins en 2021. Elle poursuit son chemin au Musée de la marine à Paris.

In a newly renovated space, the exhibition features about twenty large-format photographs showcasing the industrial giant’s greatest achievements through frigates, submarines, and aircraft carriers. The striking images provide a glimpse into the power and expertise developed by the French naval forces, in a timely context where nations are eager to showcase their strengths and potential in the current geopolitical landscape.

« It’s a great honor since my appointment as the official Navy painter to exhibit in such a prestigious venue, » comments Ewan Lebourdais from Brest, who continues to proudly represent French military industry.

Des images comme des tableaux. Les navires militaires n’ont jamais été présentés avec une telle dimension artistique par Naval Group et le photographe maritime brestois Ewan Lebourdais.

The exhibition, open from this week, will be officially inaugurated on Tuesday evening at the Paris museum. It will be accessible free of charge until May 5, 2025.
