From Tuesday, June 3 to Friday, June 6, 2,000 ocean specialists are delivering presentations at the One Ocean Science Congress, the scientific prelude to the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC). Starting Monday, June 9, heads of state and ministers from around the world will convene. They will be presented with a list of ten recommendations, developed on behalf of the scientific community gathered in Nice, designed as an « action framework to ensure that science remains at the heart of efforts to secure a sustainable future for the oceans and humanity. »
