On Monday, June 23, 2025, a joint committee composed of representatives from the Regional Health Administration of Nabeul, the Regional Agriculture Administration, the Municipality of Soliman, the Nabeul Coastal Protection and Development Agency, several members of parliament, local council representatives, and civil society organizations visited the Sebkha and the coastal strip of Soliman to assess the situation.
Recently, the seawater has changed color, and a significant number of fish and marine animals have died.
A water sample was taken for analysis and diagnosis.
