United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres welcomed the historic advisory opinion issued on Wednesday, July 23, by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), in which it affirms that States have « an obligation to prevent significant harm to the environment » and must « cooperate in good faith » to combat climate change.
