On the occasion of the Ocean Action Days at COP30, civil society actors are joining forces to launch the Call of the Ocean, from Paris to Belém.
Ten years after the Paris Agreement, as the ocean — our greatest ally in the fight against climate change — weakens under the pressure of human activities, the time for promises has passed.
In Belém, we have an opportunity to choose a new course: one that marks a decisive shift toward action, guided by science and renewed international cooperation.
We call on States to strengthen their climate strategies, fully integrate ocean-based solutions, and make COP30 a true turning point for the credibility of global commitments in order to effectively combat global warming.
