A regional and municipal cleanup campaign was carried out on Tuesday across several densely populated neighborhoods, public spaces, and open areas in the municipality of Menzel Abderrahmane, part of the Menzel Jemil delegation in the Bizerte governorate. The goal: to improve the urban environment and enhance overall quality of life.
Bizerte’s governor, Salem Ben Yacoub, who oversaw the entire campaign alongside the governorate’s Secretary-General, Abdellatif Hamid, and the Secretary-General in charge of managing the Menzel Abderrahmane municipality, Amir Taliba, stated that this operation is part of the national strategy to strengthen hygiene and cleanliness in all regions of the country.
He explained that significant logistical and human resources were mobilized to eliminate pollution hotspots, remove waste build-ups, and intervene in degraded areas, in cooperation with local and regional municipal structures as well as several partners.
