The municipality of La Marsa has ordered the complete and immediate evacuation of the « Kobbet El Hawa » building, located on the maritime public domain of Marsa Beach. This decision follows the confirmation of an imminent and certain danger related to the state of dilapidation of the building, which threatens to collapse.
According to the text of the evacuation decree, this measure follows an order on request issued by the Public Prosecutor to the Court of First Instance dated April 17, 2026. It is also based on a judicial expert report made after an observation made on April 22nd.
The municipality specified that the evacuation operation will be carried out at the expense and under the responsibility of the owners of the property, namely the Belrachid heirs, as well as any other part not mentioned. The head of the Marsa National Security District and the municipal management officer were officially responsible for the execution of this decision.
