During the “Demain le Sud” forum, organized by the President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, Renaud Muselier, the “Agreements for a Sustainable Mediterranean” were signed. Five Major Priorities

“Our commitment is backed by a significant budget,” stated the Regional President, Renaud Muselier, “with €30 million allocated to the ‘Zero Smoke Stopover’ plan, €4 million annually for preservation actions, and flagship projects such as the Regional Marine Guard, Clean Ports certification, development of ecological moorings, preservation of seagrass beds, and the goal of zero plastic by 2030.”

The event concluded with the signing of the “Agreements for a Sustainable Mediterranean” by members of the Inter-Mediterranean Commission of the Sea Parliament. They formalized concrete commitments around five key issues: protection of marine habitats, combating pollution, sustainable tourism, innovation, and regional cooperation.
