The Bizerte customs brigade, in coordination with security units, seized more than one ton of coral in a house located in the Jarrouns neighborhood (Bizerte governorate), according to a local source.
Investigations conducted by the Bizerte customs brigade led to the discovery of a foreign national and other accomplices in possession of significant quantities of coral in a house in the Jarzouns area. The premises were searched, and an estimated 1.009 tons of coral were seized. The customs brigade also discovered 9.009 tons of coral packaged in cardboard boxes, in addition to a sum of foreign currency estimated at 24,600 euros, as well as a quantity of jewelry, the quality and financial value of which will be determined by a judicial expert.
It is noteworthy that during this security operation, three people were arrested, including one foreign national. Investigations are ongoing to identify potential accomplices and dismantle the entire network.
