The Mediterranean Biodiversity Consortium is launching a Call for Small Projects aimed at enhancing biodiversity protection and improving the living conditions of local populations through Nature-based Solutions (NbS).

Launched as part of the CMB’s RESCOM project, this call seeks to support civil society organizations (CSOs) in six Mediterranean countries: Albania, Italy, Montenegro, Morocco, Tunisia, and Turkey.

The program will fund one project per country, with a grant of €20,000 per project. The small projects will focus on innovative and replicable NbS that address both ecological and socio-economic challenges of vulnerable ecosystems, while involving national and local stakeholders.

This Call for Small Projects presents an opportunity for CSOs to contribute to the protection of one of the world’s most fragile and biologically diverse regions.

Selected small projects will begin no later than June 2025. Interested organizations must submit their proposals by December 8, 2024, at 11:59 PM CET.

For more details on eligible organizations, project types, and the selection process, please refer to the Call for Small Projects guidelines.
