Algeria has announced the launch of a new maritime cargo line connecting Algiers and Doha, the capital of Qatar, according to the National Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade (Algex).
« The National Maritime Transport Company – Cnan El Djazair is making a new commercial maritime line between Algiers and Doha (Qatar) available to Algerian economic operators, » stated Algex in a press release.
It is worth recalling that the opening of this maritime route between Algeria and Qatar was announced by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune during his visit to the Gulf state in early 2022.
