Plastic bottle pollution is a major problem in the economic capital of Cameroon. A young civil society organization is mobilizing.

Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon, is facing a major environmental crisis: the invasion of plastic bottles. These waste items litter rivers, markets, gutters, and other public spaces, suffocating the city.

Plastic bottles not only threaten the beauty of the city, but this plastic pollution also causes flooding, severe ecological problems, and health issues for the residents.

In response to this alarming situation, a young civil society organization is mobilizing to help find sustainable solutions.
