After the French company Sade-CGTH, other companies have just been selected to work on strengthening the drinking water supply of the city of Dakhla and its future port. These include the Moroccan company Oumoujane Travaux, as well as the consortium formed by its compatriots HS Infra and M-AMTM (Moroccan Works Development Company) along with the Spanish company Viales Y Obras Publicas.
The group specialized in the design, construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of water and energy networks, Sade-CGTH, a subsidiary of Veolia, will not be alone in the construction of the connection to the future port of Dakhla Atlantique to the new hydraulic complex of Dakhla that it recently won. Indeed, the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) announced the result of a new tender, launched by its Water Branch, still concerning the connection of the future port of Dakhla Atlantique to the reservoirs of the new hydraulic complex of Dakhla.
The Moroccan company Oumoujane Travaux as well as the consortium formed by its compatriots HS Infra and M-AMTM (Moroccan Works Development Company) along with the Spanish company Viales Y Obras Publicas have also been declared winners of this project, which will enhance the drinking water supply of the city of Dakhla. They will supply and install connecting pipes for a total amount of over 182 million DH. Thus, the consortium formed by the Spanish company Viales Y Obras Publicas, HS Infra, a company of the Moroccan group Investorama, and M-AMTM by Mourad Laghrib, wins a contract worth nearly 100 million DH. The pipe laying section awarded to Oumoujane Travaux, led by Hamou Oumoujane, is worth 82 million DH.
These winning companies faced competition from leaders in the hydric projects sector. They thus surpassed the Moroccan Agricultural Works Company (Stam) of Louis Baudrand and CAPEP, which belongs to the Ibnou Zahir family. The New Water Pipes Company (SNCE) of the Laraqui family also sought the contract.
