Les géants des mers, une menace pour les pêcheurs du littoral

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the Sustainable Development Committee held a roundtable discussion on sustainable fishing, fish resources, and biodiversity. During the discussions, one key issue emerged along our coastlines. For instance, fishermen from the Boulonnais region are raising concerns about the presence of giant trawlers off the coast. These vessels are capable of catching up to 400 tons of fish per day. While not illegal, they pose a threat to biodiversity.
