The International Tourism and Leisure Fair of the Indian Ocean, VEEZIT, will take place from May 30 to June 1, 2025, in Saint-Denis (NORDEV), Reunion Island.
This event will be the perfect opportunity for professionals to expand their activities and explore the latest offerings from Reunion Island and the Indian Ocean region.
Following a highly successful first edition, EVENTGO, the Réunion-based company specializing in large-scale event organization, is preparing for an even more « intense » second edition in 2025. This year, the goal is to bring together over 200 exhibitors and 1,500 tourism professionals from the Indian Ocean, mainland France, Europe, Africa, Asia, and beyond, creating a unique platform to foster exchanges and develop new partnerships.
Professionals will have the chance to showcase their offerings to peers, including travel agents, tour operators, event organizers, and travel designers.
In addition to exhibition spaces, participants will discover unique destinations and offers in a tropical, friendly, and secure environment conducive to business development.
Travel agents and tour operators looking to expand their portfolios and create new products in Réunion will benefit from the buyer program, which includes tailored familiarization trips (Eductours). These trips are specifically designed to allow participants to test various local offerings and meet key tourism stakeholders on the island.
During the inaugural edition, three Eductours were organized to meet the specific interests of participating travel agents and tour operators: a general tour, a diving-focused tour, and a hiking-focused tour.
Katie House, Product Manager at The Natural Travel Collection, highlighted that « Réunion Island is an ideal destination for British tourists and presents a real opportunity for professionals seeking unique destinations. » She also noted, « I appreciated learning about some of the island’s ecological initiatives, as this is a topic that resonates strongly with our clients. »
Katie further added, « It was fantastic to have representatives from various Indian Ocean islands at the event. Many of our clients are interested in combined stays, so this allowed us to learn more and expand our connections with different destinations. »
In 2024, over 10 tour operators and travel agents participated in the buyer program. In 2025, this number is expected to grow to 30, providing even more opportunities for professionals to explore and collaborate.
