Effectively Preserving the Ocean – Geopolitical Challenges and Interdisciplinary Solutions for Marine Protected Areas
On the occasion of the schooner Tara’s stopover in Brest as part of its UNOC Mission, the Tara Ocean Foundation, in partnership with Océanopolis, the Ocean & Climate Platform, and the French Office for Biodiversity, is organizing a public conference to discuss the political, economic, and social challenges related to ocean protection.

A few weeks ahead of the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC) in Nice, this event will offer an opportunity to explore the political, economic, and social issues surrounding Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and to encourage strong national commitments.

- Cross-perspectives on conservation policies and geopolitical stakes
