The international freight traffic represents about 150 thousand units per year, the equivalent of 250 to 300 thousand containers, thus constituting an essential pillar of Tunisian imports and exports.

In this context, a meeting was held this week between the Société tunisienne d’acconage et de manutention (STAM) and international logistics operators, in order to examine the operational difficulties related to trailer traffic in the ports of Radès and La Goulette.

The exchanges made it possible to agree on common procedures aimed at reducing port damage and strengthening cooperation between the various actors, within the framework of a public-private partnership. The meeting was also an opportunity to take stock of recent progress, including the launch of the Elbort.tn platform and the measures taken to lighten port stock.
