After two successive postponements (in November 2023 for reasons linked to water supply, then in April 2024 due to security issues), Mayotte will thus host November 5, 6 and 7, for the second time since its creation, the Indian Ocean Islands Economic Forum (IOIF).

This unmissable event will take place at the Technopole de Mayotte in Dembéni and the emphasis will be placed on the theme of “regional production”. In 2022, the 13th edition took place in Mauritius and was under the banner of “Rethink tomorrow”. Economic and financial players as well as local and international institutions were then invited “to think together about the major challenges of tomorrow”.

For this 14th FEIOI, no less than 9 round tables and 9 workshops will be offered in order to highlight the production capacities in our territories, the innovations and the challenges to be met. In order to encourage exchanges and business opportunities between participants, new tools have been specially designed this year such as an online B2B platform allowing participants registered at the Forum to exchange ideas, or even Biodiversity Fresco workshops, combining conviviality and awareness of the issues of preserving the marine and terrestrial ecosystems of the islands.

In addition, a series of visits will be organized, targeting Mahorese companies developing activities linked to the theme of regional production, to allow economic operators in the Indian Ocean zone to discover the dynamism of the Mahorais private sector and the local commercial potential. This will thus be a fantastic opportunity for Mayotte stakeholders to strengthen the attractiveness of the island and increase its visibility on the international scene.

– Interested persons residing in Mayotte are asked to complete the registration form

– Operators from the Indian Ocean zone or elsewhere are invited to complete the registration form
