Following the success of last year’s publication, BlueMissionMed has just released the new booklet for the Society4Med Award, showcasing around twenty inspiring best practices that engage citizens in transformative actions for the protection of oceans and water.
The initiatives are organized according to the categories of the Society4Med Award – 2nd edition:
- Sports and leisure initiatives involving civil society in the protection of oceans and water.
- Blue education initiatives, including formal, non-formal, and informal educational activities.
This year’s call for applications received 24 inspiring submissions from across the Mediterranean, reflecting a growing movement of communities and organizations committed to a healthier marine environment. Among these, 16 were new signatories of the Ocean Mission Charter, demonstrating the tangible contribution of the award to expanding the Mission’s support network and amplifying its impact across the Mediterranean region.
The booklet includes all eligible submissions, highlighting the winners, special mentions, and other outstanding initiatives shaping a more sustainable future for the Mediterranean!
