At just 19 years old, Ahmed Jaouadi has made a stunning achievement at the World Swimming Championships in Budapest. In a thrilling 1500 meters freestyle final, Jaouadi triumphed over his competitors, claiming a brilliant gold medal.

With an impressive time of 14 minutes, 16.40 seconds, he defeated Germany’s Florian Wellbrock (14:17.27) and Turkey’s Kuzey Tuncelli (14:20.64), solidifying his place as one of the sport’s most promising young talents.

Jaouadi is not resting on his laurels and is set to continue his remarkable performance. He will compete in the 400 meters on Thursday, December 12, and finish his program on Saturday, December 14, with the 800 meters.

The Tunisian delegation will also rely on other talented swimmers, including Rami Rahmouni, who will race in the 800 meters freestyle on Friday, December 13, and in the 200 meters freestyle on Sunday, December 15. Belhassen Ben Miled will compete in the 400 meters individual medley on the final day of the competition, although he did not qualify for the 200 meters individual medley final.

The World Swimming Championships in the 25-meter pool are being held in Budapest, Hungary, from December 10 to 15.
