The authorities of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region are carrying out vast campaigns to free and clean public spaces, particularly beaches, in order to prepare for the high tourist season.

This operation was launched a few days ago by the authorities of Tangier who decided to free the municipal beach as well as the beaches of Malabata, Ghandouri and other beaches, reports Tanja24, specifying that the municipality plans to adopt a new specifications for the operation, management and entertainment of beaches during the summer season.

Likewise, the municipality of Asilah has decided to adopt new specifications for the exploitation of the maritime domain for economic, recreational and educational purposes. A measure which aims to preserve the beauty of the beaches, to maintain the environment clean for residents and visitors, and to guarantee the quality of services offered to summer visitors.

The authorities of the M’diq-Fnideq prefecture are not left out. They are also working to welcome tourists during the upcoming summer season, by carrying out cleaning campaigns in public spaces (green spaces, beaches, squares) and development and beautification work on the cornice, facades of houses and headquarters of public institutions along the coast.

With its beaches and natural landscapes, the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region is a popular destination for national and foreign tourists, as well as Moroccans living abroad (MRE) during the summer.
