We are pleased to announce the 5th WestMED Stakeholders Conference! This year’s edition will take place on 28 November 2025 in Tunis, Tunisia.
Following successful editions in Barcelona (2017), Algiers (2018), Rome (2021), and Malta (2023), it will once again be an opportunity to learn, meet, and collaborate with like-minded professionals to help shape the future of a sustainable blue economy in the Western Mediterranean and beyond.
As in previous editions, you can expect:
• Inspiring presentations
• Engaging discussions
• Numerous opportunities to expand your network
This year, the focus will be on the key areas that the WestMED initiative actively supports:
• Maritime clusters
• Sustainable aquaculture
• Energy transition
• Maritime spatial planning
• Blue skills / ocean knowledge
Additionally, the European Pact for the Oceans will be presented, exploring how the WestMED assistance mechanism can serve as a bridge between its priorities and concrete actions on the ground through regional cooperation opportunities.
The event will be fully in-person, with interpretation services provided in English and French for plenary sessions.
