Khadidja Amine has over 25 years of experience in development programs. She began her career as a consultant for UNESCO, then worked as a program manager in humanitarian organizations, both in the field and at headquarters, and for the past decade, she has been focusing on themes related to sustainable development and environmental protection. This includes work with French National Parks (projects related to national parks and protected areas, both marine and terrestrial, in the Mediterranean), CIDT (Center for International Development and Training) at the University of Wolverhampton (projects related to tropical forests, particularly in West and Central Africa, as well as governance and deforestation issues), and Plan Bleu/CAR (UNEP/MAP) (participatory systemic foresight work at the Mediterranean scale, as a tool for public decision-making in support of sustainable development in the Mediterranean).
