Dr Oula Amrouni is a researcher at the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies, Carthage Salammbô, Tunisia. His work focuses on geomorphological studies, multi-scale coastal morphodynamics and the development of numerical hydrodynamic models on sensitive beaches in Tunisia, Mediterranean Basin. Dr. Amrouni is leader and coordinator of national and international projects dealing with multidisciplinary themes of the coastal system, its evolution and the erosion of sandy beaches. Dr. Amrouni has been appointed since 2016 Regional Coordinator of the theme “Coastal Ecohydrology” of the international MEDFRIEND-Water UNESCO programme.
