The UNEP/MAP Secretariat invites Mediterranean women’s and youth organisations to submit their applications to become members of the Mediterranean Commission for Sustainable Development (MCSD).
This appeal follows the decision of the 24th Assembly of the Contracting Parties to the Barcelona Convention and its Protocols to expand the category of non-contracting members of the MCSD, by introducing a new group representing the Mediterranean, regional and subregional organizations of women and youth working in the fields of environment and sustainable development.
Eligible organizations are invited to submit their completed application forms to irene.cavoura[at]un.org and patrizia.bousolini[at]un.org before Friday, June 26, 2026.
Applications will be evaluated according to the eligibility and selection criteria defined by the MAP partner policy and the constituent documents of the MCSD.
