How do we study what we cannot see? Is the invisible truly undetectable? And what if we could understand and protect biodiversity using technology that detects the elusive?

In the lagoon, out at sea, or in the abyss, DNA is everywhere and reveals magical secrets about our surroundings today and in the past. This event will be an opportunity to discover this incredible marine world that has so much to teach us.

Supported by two magnificent documentaries centered around this theme, scientists will present their work conducted in the New Caledonian lagoon and offshore, using environmental DNA to understand marine biodiversity in order to better protect it.

Come and dive into the mysteries of the ocean!
