Patricia Ricard began her commitment to environmental conservation in 1991 by establishing the “Environmental Tuesdays” initiative. She served as a member of the French Economic, Social, and Environmental Council (CESE) from 2010 to 2015, during which she authored a report on biomimicry and sustainable innovation. Since 2005, she has been the President of the Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute, where she currently focuses on highlighting the interconnectedness of the Ocean, Climate, and Biodiversity, as well as the role of private philanthropy. She also holds the position of Vice President of the Ocean and Climate Platform. In 2020, she led the French delegation at the Summit of the Two Shores, and she served as the Ambassador for the One Ocean Summit in 2022.
