As it has done every year for more than 10 years, the association « Beyond Plastic Med », based in Monaco and which fights against plastic pollution in the Mediterranean, is renewing its call for micro-initiatives.
The principle is simple: to select and support projects lasting 12 to 24 months in the Mediterranean region, with the successful applicants receiving a grant of €15,000 to carry out their mission . Since its creation in 2005, « BeMed » has supported more than 120 projects.
And it is preparing to support 12 more. The Monegasque association has just unveiled the winners of its latest call for micro-initiatives.
With two French initiatives selected. The first is led by the town hall of Sanary-sur-Mer. » Their initiative aims to create a « repair café » within the municipal FabLab to extend the life of objects, encourage a change in behavior and promote more use.
